The menu at the Barracuda is based on three main guidelines: the first is that the emphasis should be on top quality fresh local produce from Cape Verde such as tuna, lobster and a wide range of excellent fish and seafood. Secondly, the cuisine is simple and natural, enabling the top quality ingredients to take centre stage and highlighting them with subtle details. Don’t miss the chance to try the tuna carpaccio or the delicious tartar, the fried Fogo cheese and the spectacular rice with lobster and seafood. The third guideline is variety: we also serve European dishes such as tasty Spanish paella and Italian pasta alongside Cape Verde dishes such as kid cooked São Nicolau style and roast suckling pig.

On the beachside, with sea views, the atmosphere is friendly, the food exquisite and the service excellent. This was our best meal in Cape Verde, and the price was more than reasonable!
